Breakaway attends the WCET Conference in Liverpool, to raise awareness amongst UK Stoma Care Nurses

In October Breakaway attended the WCET Conference in Liverpool to raise awareness for the Charity.

During the Conference our Young Ambassador Ainsley presented about Life with a Stoma and his involvement with Breakaway, along with Lesley a Professional Volunteer of Breakaway.

Thank You to Jeanette Anning and Claire Fuller who organised a 'Pink Ladies Night' and raised a whopping $1,100 for Breakaway!

Thank You to Jeanette Anning and Claire Fuller who organised a 'Pink Ladies Night' at the King Edward Hall in Lindfield earlier this month. "Great fun was had by all that attended!"
Guests enjoyed, canapes, bubbles, fashion and a night of catwalk entertainment! 



Jeanette and Claire had a strong passion to raise funds for Breakaway after hearing first hand of the support that Breakaway has offered the Haste family (Angela, Guy, Lydia, Tommy & Archie) who are very close to their hearts.

Thank You to The Mid Essex Stoma Support Group for helping raise £300 for Breakaway!

Earlier this year,The Bess of Hardwick Angling Club set about raising funds for Breakaway.


In July a 24 hour fishing event was held, with an evening B-B-Q, various stalls, and fun and games going on !
